Don’t Forget to Recycle – at the Library

A reminder to everyone:  the Library is still collecting all sorts of items in the front entry.  From printer ink cartridges to Malt o Meal cereal bags, Campbell’s soup UPCs to milk caps, they all raise money for the Library.

Next time you are in the Library, drop your items in the bin.  Thanks for your support!

Recycle at the Library!

The Hammond Library recently started collecting several different items in an effort to raise money for new resources and programs.  If you would like to contribute, please bring the following items to the box near the front entrance during normal business hours:

Campbell’s Soup labels or UPC codes:  Includes V-8, Pepperidge Farm, Swanson, Prego, Spaghetti-O’s products

Nature’s Touch (Kwik Trip) Bag Tops or Caps from milk, orange juice, water, egg nog, flavored water, milk pints and iced cappuccino

Our Family brand UPC codes or labels

Glazer’s Donuts Price Ovals (Kwik Trip)

Quencher Fruit Drinks caps or bag tops (Kwik Trip)

Capri-Sun and Honest Kids drink pouches

Malt-o-Meal cereal bags

Kashi packages

Scott bath tissue, towels, napkins packaging

Huggies Diapers packaging

Aveeno tubes

Scotch tape dispensers and cores

For a complete list of products and items being collected, please ask at the front desk.  Before you throw something away, make sure it isn’t something we collect!  Help your library by recycling some of your trash with us…
