October Book Club Selections

The October selections for the morning book clubs have been made!

Morning Book Club #1 meets on Thursday, October 21 at 11:30 am at the Library, and they will be discussing To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.

Morning Book Club #2 meets on Tuesday, October 26 at 10:00 am at the library to discuss a book yet to be selected.

Join a Book Club at any time – just stop by the Library front desk!

Book Clubs – September Selections

If you love to read, and would like to join a book club for book discussion and review, now is a great time to get started!

There are now 2 Book Clubs meeting in the morning at the Library; their September book selections and meeting information are as follows:

Morning Book Group #1:  Meeting on Thursday, September 23 at 11:30 am to discuss Harriet Beecher Stowe’s Uncle Tom’s Cabin.

MorningBook Club #2:  Meeting on Tuesday, September 28 at 10:00 am to discuss Elizabeth Strout’s Olive Kitteridge.

You may join a club at any time, simply by picking up the month’s book selection at the front desk of the Library, and attending the discussion.  This is a great way to build some reading time into your month, and to enjoy books with others.  Get started today!

June Book Club Selections

The Evening Book Club will meet on Thursday, June 10 at 7:30 pm at the Hammond Library to discuss Memory Keeper’s Daughter by Kim Edwards.

The Morning Book Club will meet on Thursday, June 24 at 11:30 am at the Hammond Library to discuss Empire Falls by Richard Russo.

Book Club Selections for May

If you are interested in joining one of our book clubs, you are welcome at any time!

The Morning Group will be meeting on Thursday, May 27 at 11:30 am at the Hammond Library to discuss Chasing Sophie’s Ashes by local author Nanette Jordahl.

The Evening Group will meet on Thursday, May 13 at 7:30 pm at the Hammond Library to discuss The Last Summer (of You and Me) by Ann Brashares.
